The original Baccara enjoyed meteoric but brief success in the late 1970s. Both principals have subsequently had prolonged but separate legacy careers based on nostalgia and their earlier fame. Spanish disco duo Baccara have said that they would re-record their 70s classic as an anthem for Scotland as the team heads to the Euros. Yes Sir, I Can Boogie is on course to return to the Top 40.
